so i’ve been asked a surprising amount of questions about tony jones and why i dislike him so i felt i’d combine all my answers into an easier post to read!!

quick points for why i dont like him

• flirted with underage fans over twitter dms (i dont have a source for this anymore as she deleted her tweet but if anyone has anything, please let me know)
  
• told a 13 year old girl to kill herself x
  
• gross misogynistic instagram posts x x x x (his insta is tony_jones)
  
• asked for link to bangtan’s album a week after release date to ‘check it out’ to which then he only bought one of the songs… which is the only bangtan song he has…
  
• guilt tripped (of a sort) fans of bts into getting him a kcon ticket (which they did).. sorry but you’re a grown man, buy your own ticket 
• turned up to a bangtan fansign and just expected to be let in despite the fact fans have to work hard to get into them x x x

it’s frustrating to watch tony gain more and more followers and love simply for liking bangtan. i’ve seen very little actual support from tony for bangtan such as voting in music shows, promoting them or even buying their music. he’s using bangtan’s growing popularity to get himself a little fanbase of his own with their name when he has actually done very little. he was a mentor to bangtan so i feel it’s kinda disrespectful for him to simply use the people who looked up to him to fish for attention. nate walka, another mentor on ahl, still supports bangtan (shown through his tweet for hoseok’s birthday!!) yet he hasn’t done any of the ridiculous shit tony has. bangtan have worked hard for their popularity and success and it’s infuriating that tony is exploiting them like this. 

“I told BTS I thought they were the best KPop group a year ago” that’s great tony. but are you saying it because you believe it or because army believes it?

He didn’t smile nor celebrate, those comments and assumptions must have hurt him. How dare you take his smile away, he earned the rights to be /that/ happy. To celebrate with his group. He worked hard and that goes for the rest of the boys. Its unnecessary to ruin someones vibe just because you see them as a “threat” towards your favs.
